For a new rider like me these videos are great. They thoroughly and adequately explain the techniques, in simple terms, well suited for novice riders. I found them more helpful than the private tuition I got at an Austrian ski resort and definitely better value for money. They contain enough information on techniques and tricks to take you well beyond the intermediate level. Well done guys!
Even for the more experienced riders, the basics are the most important thing to master before hitting the big jumps and doing fancy tricks. I totally recommend this program for all riders! Always good to be able to review fundamentals in a very straightforward and friendly video! Great job guys!!

Just what I have been looking for. I started out watching snowboarding tips on youtube and learning from a friend. The first day was a pain in the a**. Before I went a second time I grabbed a copy of this program and I started to learn pretty quickly; I wasn't even able to do most of the exercises because I don't have a snowboard, nor access to some types of slopes that might have helped. Not to mention the fact that the boots on the snowboard I rented didn't fit very well; however I managed to learn the most out of all of my beginner friends and I was even praised by my friend who's been doing it for a while (not that it was an intention of mine). Some of the people in the resort that I chatted with didn't even think I was a beginner, but none of that really matters cause I had a lot of fun and I learned a lot even if I didn't follow the program 100% (which I plan to do in the near future). Thanks SA! and I'm especially pleased with having a download version available, cause transportation would have taken too long and would have more than doubled the price for me.

Excellent video lessons. Very clear instructions with demo. It also covers really basic stuff to help me get comfortable with a board strapped to my feet. These videos covered more detaileD basics than the ski school I used for introductory lessons. At a fraction of the cost of in-person lessons these are a great money saver. I am glad I bought these instead of the in-person lesson series I was thinking of buying. Thank you for producing these!!!
I purchased this download last week and have watched it about 8 times. I found it to be very helpful. This is much better then anything on YouTube. Video quality is great and informative. I would recommend it to anyone just starting out. Thanks SA.
I bought a new board/bindings/boots this year and the bonus board set-up video really helped as I had never set-up a board before. The lessons are much better than the tutor who taught me when I first went snowboarding last year. They teach you the foundation of tricks early on. So when you come to try a trick it's much easier to progress quickly. :)
This program was awesome! A friend taught me how to snowboard years ago but I only got out a few times and was never very good. Then things got busy with work and I went a few years without ever getting out but the board fever continued to beat inside me. When I finally got the chance I got back out there but everything was off and I couldn't figure out what I was doing wrong. I found this product via a google search and decided to check it out. The video was perfect for me and got me doing everything I needed to do to stop looking like an idiot out there. Plus you can't beat the price - way cheaper than lessons and no embarrassment from taking classes with a bunch of little kids. You'll love this video and won't be disappointed!
Great! Lots of exercises to do at home and in the slopes to improve technique, strength and skill. I leart to ride on my own and have loads of bad habits, this video is helping me to perfect the basics. I would recommend to anyone who is at an intermediate level.
I purchased the original Learn to Ride series 2 years ago. I have learn so much my first season riding. I recommend this program to all riders even if you think you already know how to snowboard. There's still some very good techniques for everyone. Now I'm reviewing these videos again to teach myself to ride switch/fakie. I purchased the Freestyle program because I wanna get into the more playful element of snowboarding. But now I realised I should have learned switch riding early because there's lots of tricks where you can end it switch/fakie. Trust me, you wanna learn switch riding early before you get used to your regular stance.... I just hope it won't be too difficult to ride outside my comfort stance. (I'm goofy). Gonna give it a try this winter.

I ordered this program so that i could teach my wife how to snowboard. Until i saw Snowboard Addiction's Learn To Ride program, i personally had never seen another program that goes into some much detail on the setup for the board. The program also goes into preparing your body for snowboarding, which i think is crucial for any beginner snowboarder. I highly recommend this program for beginner snowboarders.

Great product! The pointers were easy to understand and reduced a lot of the anxiety when attempting turns on the snow. The inside movements section was also great for getting used to being strapped in.

Tons of valuable info for the progressing beginning rider towards intermediate riders. It really helps to break down how to snowboard and cuts the fear and anxiety associated with those new to the sport. I ordered the download version of Learn To Ride for my brother and cousin. I was amazed how helpful the program was and how easy it is to follow. They both took a ton of info from the video as well as myself. I was a little worried at first but after reading some reviews and checking it out on youtube I decided to go with it and I'm glad I did. This is the BEST learning tool hands down. I cant wait to order the Freestyle videos!

Great videos. I bought them to prepare for a snowboarding trip with friends. I watched it a couple times, went out to a small ski area and put it to the test. Within two hours I was able to make it stop, turn and make it down without falling. I was pretty impressed since I have never been on a snowboard before. Now I am feeling pretty confident about my trip.

Great Tutorial Videos! The SA Team has broken down the steps to riding into concise, "easy to digest" sections. You never feel overwhelmed while watching but you do feel challenged by the exercises and concepts presented. Nev and Chris walk you through seemingly everything you would need to know to get you confidently riding. The content in the videos are also replay-worthy. They also look great on the iPhone screen.

Purchased this video to help my 10 year old daughter learn to ride After teaching my son myself I actually had him sit and watch the video to encourage my daughter they both loved the video and it really had the fundamentals of riding nailed another great purchase

Very stoked about downloading the product. The "Inside Movement" section has already been a huge help and I am really excited about loading this up on my iPod and taking it to the slopes with me. The detail that is covered in this video was more than enough to point out the now-apparent pitfalls in my riding style. I cannot stress enough how useful of a tool this video is to a beginner. The bonus video was also very helpful in detailing snowboard and binding setup. The walkthrough on detuning was exceptionally helpful to me as I had never done it before. Thanks Snowboard Addiction! You've saved me from a disastrous season of common mistakes.

The bonus of the set up instructions was an added plus with the main dvd covering all the basics plus some really useful tips on for getting ready for basic freestyle. Im not a complete beginner but thought I would start right at the begining, the instruction was different from the lessons I have already had but were super easy and cool to follow and made the transition from learner to progressor really easy to follow. ( I wish I could have started with these guys in the first place)!! Dowloaded to my iphone for on hill coaching this stuff really is the best, I cant say enough about it, if you follow and pratice the intruction you\'ll be jibbing about and spinning for fun in no time...The shiz!!! Now for the Freestyle!! ;)
this is a great tool to supplyment your learning of how to ride. it goes though the techniques in ridiculous amounts of detail, opposed to other vids on youtube that tend to gloss over important parts. i do still feel people should take lessons from an intructor as a video can\'t give you feedback on where your going wrong. overall a quality product

The best to teach your self or your friends to snowboard! If you are planning to snowboard without taking classes this is a mus for you to quickly improve and get most joy with least injuries from your boarding! I\'m already a snowboarder for many years. I started with the freestyle program but then went on to download this. I try to help friends and newcomers on the mountain to get some basic moves and tips for starting to turn or riding the T-bar lift. I never had that my self and spent my first years of snowboarding with slow improvements and style like a beginner, till I took lessons. I guess since I learnt boarding without instructions that\'s why it has been so hard for me to teach real beginners (my boyfriends got broken ribs on the second run). After watching this program I now not only know how to do teach beginners, but also how to improve my switch riding fast and in that way improve both my spins and carves. Next you move up to the freestyle program for some really cool and inspirational videos! Good Luck!

Snowboard Addiction is really great!!! We got this for my 5 year old and she really loves it. We have no snow but she still does all the moves.
I really like how the lessons are broken down and taken in steps. Tthis is so much better than trying to cram all of the lesson into 1 hour long session on the hill!! Nev & SA.. you guys rock!
