We hire individuals who have skills in the 1 or more of the following areas:

Customer Service/admin/receptionists

Marketing professionals, especially with relation to online marketing

Web developers

Filmer/editors

Snowboard Coaches

Interns (for all the above positions)

Snowboard Addiction gives you the opportunity to ride all day and work evenings (or work days if that’s what you want).
Super chilled out working environment.
Hours can be either full time or part time depending on your needs.
You need to have your own laptop.
If you don’t have a Canadian work visa, we may still be able to hire you.

Job info and skills needed

Office Manager / Personal Assistant / Receptionist

Help with running all areas of the business
Lots of emailing!
Ability to write professionally. Will be front line contact with customer issues, questions, etc
Strong computer skills – this is an internet business
Creating shipping labels, dropping packages to the post office
Keeping the office clean, taking the trash out etc

Marketing Professionals

Social Media
SEM
Press releases/newsletters
Promotions/contests
Acquiring sponsorship / reviews

Web-developers

Strong programming experience
Working with shopping carts, specifically OScommerce integrated into a Wordpress CMS
Fix stuff that goes wrong
Customizing Wordpress themes
SEO/SEM
Webdesign / graphic design

Filmer /Editors

Every year we produce new freestyle instruction material and hire filmers and editors
If you’ve watched some our stuff and think you have the skills and experience to at least match what we currently produce, then we’d love to keep your details/resume on file for this coming winter
You will need to have your own HD production quality camera equipment and fluid head tripod eg: Panasonic HVX
Need to have strong skills using Final cut studio 2

Snowboard coaches

We occasionally require professional snowboarders and/or professional snowboard coaches although this is not very often. Feel free to email us your resume and we’ll keep on file for possible future coaching gigs

Interns

If you are a University student requiring experience or if the above positions have already been filled then we are always happy to take on interns. Interns have the unique opportunity to work for a growing snowboard company based in Whistler and will likely be employee with us when a paid position becomes available
