Subscription Questions

What is the subscribers' area?

The subscribers' area is a place where you can log in and find the latest Snowboard Addiction tutorials before they're released to the general public. It's for previous customers who want access to all our latest material as soon as it is released without having to pay full price.

I'm already a subscriber, where do I log in?

How do I join the subscription program?

If you are a previous customer you should can join the subscription program by purchasing a subscription program. If you have purchased another product from us within the last 30 days you are eligible for a 6 month free trial which will automatically appear in your cart.

Do I need to have a PayPal account?

Nope, you can subscribe with your credit card as well.

I just purchased your program does this mean I have a subscription?

No. This means you are eligible for a 6 month free trial of our subscription updates program. If you did not buy this at the time of your original purchase, you can purchase the subscription within 30 days and still be eligible for the free trial.

Can I unsubscribe?

Yes you can cancel your subscription at any time, either through your account page or by cancelling the paypal agreement if you used paypall. Please notice that when you cancel, your access to the subscribers' area is automatically removed.

Is the subscribers area available in other languages?

No, it is currently available only in English. We do plan to release the new vids in other languages although we are not planning on creating a subscribers' area for the other languages.

Are the newly released videos available on DVD?

Not yet. The newly produced videos are available via the subscribers' area as soon as they are released. Once they are put on dvd, they will be sold on the website as new products (usually the season after they were released to subscribers).

How long do I have to download the videos in the subscribers area?

You have 2 months to download the videos in the subscribers area before they are released to the public and moved to our shopping cart.

Purchases / Transactions

Do you ship internationally, how much does it cost?

Yes. We ship the DVD package world-wide. Shipping for the 7 DVD box set is US $11.50 for Canada, US $16.50 for the USA and US $21.50 for all other international destinations. We have shipped to over 30 different countries and have not yet encountered any shipping problems. You may be required to pay tax/duty to customs for importing products to your home country however only 2 of our customers has ever reported any tax/duty added so this is unlikely.

How long does shipping take?

All our packages are sent with Canada Post using their standard air mail delivery service. The packages normally take 6 - 10 business days to arrive. It may take longer if you live in a far away country or the mail service in your country is slow. We ship our packages at 9am on Mondays and Noon on Thursdays. The packages are guaranteed to make it to you (provided you gave us your correct address) and we've never had a package get lost in the mail. If you';ve made an order and it has not yet been delivered, then please sit tight, it's on the way. Please do not email us 7 days after your purchase asking where it is. We get a lot of email and have trouble replying to even the important questions!

Can I purchase without a credit card?

Yes. We accept any kind of payment. Cash, check, money order, carrier pigeons, all major credit cards & Paypal. If you don't have a credit card, it's easy to link almost any bank account with a PayPal account. If you need to arrange an alternate method, then contacts us at: info@SnowboardAddiction.com. Please note that you do need a valid credit card to become a subscriber, this is the only way we can process recurring payments.

I'm already a customer, how do I get the latest material?

If you're a previous Snowboard Addiction customer, then it's only fair that you get all the new material at a heavily discounted price. Previous customers are eligible to subscribe to our Snowboard Addiction updates program and get all the brand new material as it's released. Click here for details.

Why don't you sell the program cheaper?

Our product is the world's best snowboard instructional program, and to keep it that way we have to cover a lot of expenses. Filmers, producers, editors, employees and DVD production costs for example. We do understand it's expensive but promise to make it a worth while purchase for you. The price of our program is much cheaper than most freestyle lessons and it lasts forever.

How to I get a discount code or coupon number?

Where do I enter my discount code?

At the confirmation stage of the checkout process. It's a green box below the sub totals and after you enter it you have to press update for the discount to be applied.

Can I purchase the different sections separately?

What is the 120% Money Back Guarantee?

If you don’t learn anything that dramatically improves your riding, we’ll refund you 100% of your purchase price and an extra 20% for trying the program out.

How can I get a refund?

To qualify for your 120% money back guarantee just write us a short email explaining why you're not satisfied and we’ll process your refund as quickly as possible.

Is the program available for download through iTunes?

Soon. Right now we do have a Snowboard Addiction channel on iTunes but only with the free lessons available so far. In the near future we will have each section available for purchase as well as the whole program for both the Freestyle and Learn to Ride programs. Sign up to our newsletter for details.

Can I get a private coaching session with lessons for myself/friends/family?

Yes. On top of the Snowboard Addiction Camps, we also offer individual coaching sessions that range from half day lessons to full week all-inclusive sessions. Can I buy Snowboard Addiction stickers?

We give out a selection of stickers FREE to every customer of the DVD program. We do have extra stickers or massive Snowboard Addiction stickers if you want them however we don't get a lot made so our prices are not very competitive. All the stickers are die cut and high quality. You should be able to buy them from our shop soon. In the mean time just email us at info@SnowboardAddiction.com.

How can I get some Snowboard Addiction swag?

We will be selling T-shirts as and when we have them in stock. Check our T-Shirts page to find out.

Program Content

Does the download version contain the same material as the DVD package?

Yes. The download version has exactly the same material as the DVD package although it is download quality not DVD quality (good enough to watch full screen on a computer, probably wouldn't look great on a huge TV).

Does the downloaded program come as files that I can copy to DVD?

No, the downloadable program is not designed to be burnt onto DVD, it is optimized for viewing on your computer or MP3 player and works automatically with iTunes.

What format do your products come in?

The download programs come in the file formats *.M4V (for video) and *.M4A (for audio). These formats are Quicktime and iTunes compatible. The video resolutions on the download programs are 640 x 360 (ratio 16:9).

We do not offer our products in other formats, but we do allow you to convert them as you please.

The DVD's come simply as ‘DVD Quality'.

Are the downloadable videos low quality like on youtube?

No, they are far higher quality than youtube and can easily be watched on a full sized computer screen.

What is the main difference between the Freestyle and Learn to Ride programs?

The Freestyle program is our bread and butter. It is all about hitting the park, pulling big tricks on big features and getting super comfortable with your riding that any trick you want to learn is within your grasp. The Learn to Ride program on the other hand is for beginners who are just getting onto the hill for the first time. Equipment setup, learning turns and getting on and off the chairlift are all things included in this program.

Is there an intermediate rider program available?

No. At the moment we do not have an instructional program with material for riders who have been on the hill plenty of times but are looking to get to the next level of riding but not quite ready for the park. However we do offer personal coaching lessons available either with a private camp session or personal phone/webcam session. Are there any sections on buttering and flatland tricks?

Sure is. It is called Buttery Stuff and is available by either DVD or download. It is also part of out Freestyle program.

Can I get free updates with the latest material?

No. We used to offer free updates as we built the original material however we have now released a subscription program for you to get the latest updates as they become available. Sign up here.

Can I get these programs in other languages?

We now have many of our videos in different languages. Please check the flags at the top of the site to see what we have translated.

Troubleshooting

I just made a purchase but nothing has happened, what do I do now?

When you make a purchase you should be re-directed back to a unique download page that lasts for 48 hours. You are also emailed with this link so make sure you've added info@SnowboardAddiction.com to your safe email list. If you can't find it check the junk/spam folder. If you have any problems then just flick us a quick email and we'll respond ASAP with a fresh download link: info@SnowboardAddiction.com.

The program didn’t download properly, what can I do?

If the program didn't download properly then your internet connection may have been interrupted during the download or it may be a problem with your computer. The best solution here is to delete the file which isn't working and download it again.

The videos aren’t working for me.

The videos and audios are optimized for itunes/ipods. Make sure you are running the latest version of iTunes. Download iTunes here. They will also open with Quicktime and VLC. Download VLC here.

What if I don’t have an iPod but I do have a different mp3 player?

The programs are in a common format they work for all ipods and many other MP3 players but may not work with every type.
